I have been brainstorming ways to stay creative with coding, and I've theorized a group project and pitched it to some friends. It's been difficult to try to combine all of the different technologies/skills/interests of the group members, but I believe that our best option is to build a Python machine learning app. Two group members are specifically interested in Python, while the other two (including me) are more flexible. I think that using Flask we can build an API that will serve predictions using a stored model and new user data. For this current idea, I'll be working on the frontend React UI while also jumping around and helping group members.

New Algorithms Course

I've just enrolled in a Stanford Online course to brush up on my algorithm analysis, and I'm ecstatic about it. The professor seems very knowledgable and I'm excited to improve my algorithmic thinking.
Starting New MERN App
12/22/2020
The ICTU project has me very excited about using the full MERN stack. I used most of it for the Tenants site, but I didn't implement React in that project, and I'm very excited to. To start off with, I'm going to be working on an educational project called Dev-Connector. This will be a full-fledged social media site, with a NodeJS backend api and a React frontend.
Finishing ICTU Project
11/30/2020
I've just concluded the process of wrapping up the Tenants Union project I've been working on for the past 6 weeks. The project is hosted on Heroku, and the client preferred to save as much money as possible, so we purchased a domain that simply redirects to the heroku domain. It was a lot of fun to learn more about how well JavaScript can work as a Backend language with Node.js. I also enjoyed learning about routing within MVC architecture, and how to implement passport security with sessions to manipulate routing. The site can be found here or on my main page.
